Just watched the documentary WITCH HUNT - which chronicled the slew of erroneous/McCarthyist allegations of child molestation that swept across Kern County/Bakersfield during the early 1980’s, resulting in the imprisonment of ten innocent individuals,  who served sentences ranging from six years to two decades.

terrifying to observe the way manipulation and corruption has shaped itself within societies and their systems of control over time. retrospective observation is sometimes even more terrifying.
